We are passionate about serving our community and bringing hope to the broken. This Christmas Nexus Sisterhood is partnering with numerous organizations to spread the love of Christ and Christmas Cheer in KC.

  • CARE PACKAGES FOR FIRST RESPONDERS

    9-1-1! Emergency care package experts needed! Pack and decorate care packages for the local Police and Fire Departments.

    Play bingo and spend time with the residents of Delmar Gardens of Lenexa.

  • HOUSE OF HOPE KC

    Host a Christmas PJ Brunch for the girls and staff of House of Hope KC. House of Hope KC is a Christian home for girls age 13-17 who are having emotional or behavioral issues. Volunteers must be over the age of 21.

    Prepare and hand out hot chocolate to shoppers coming and going from Hobby Lobby.

    Host two back to back Christmas parties for the kids and staff at the center.

    Prepare a brunch, crafts and spend time with kids and families ages 3-12yrs who attend KSD. ASL is NOT required for this outreach.

    Prepare food/treats/toys to deliver to the animals and staff. Spend time loving on some neglected animal friends.

    Host a Christmas Party for children of Kids TLC. TLC provides care and housing for children in crisis. Volunteers must be over 21 for this outreach.

    Host a lunch for the moms and teachers of the Nexus Prep Preschool. Play games and spend time connecting with these wonderful ladies.
